Research Experience

- Supervisor: overseen by Prof. Markus Gross, supervised by Dr. Clara Fernández Labrador
- Duty: Work on the controllable 3D style transfer problem. Proposed a novel method: CoARF, which enables style transfer for specified objects, compositional 3D style transfer, and semantic-aware style transfer. We achieve controllability using segmentation masks with different label-dependent loss functions. We also propose a semantic-aware nearest neighbor matching algorithm to improve the style transfer quality. Finally, we published a paper in 3DV 2024.
- Sep 2020 to April 2021: Bachelor Thesis
- Place: City University of Hong Kong
- Duty: Propose a novel self-attention mechanism with specific mathematical meaning and a novel style transfer mechanism to learn the blank-leaving information in the style image. Implement the code for training and testing, with a web-based GUI.

- Duty: Analyze data from the hospital, and predict rehabilitation by using the library scikit-learn and pandas. Tune and visualize the loss function by using the tensor board for crowd-counting problems.

- Develop full stack mobile application for management purposes (under the MERN framework) with satisfactory performance according to business and technological requirements. Deploy the application and the database and write the documents.
- Implemented and deployed a blockchain solution using Hyperledger Fabric for the Smart City project to improve the car parking efficiency in Hong Kong Technology and Science Park.
- Assisted in curating the 2019 RISE conference for Siemens in HK by presenting and demonstrating the company’s latest cloud platform technology to the public.
